CARRIER MATERIAL

The Carrier Materials for Drive Belts and Conveyor Belts

You may find all technical information on Schlatterer’s special fabric here. The fabric is manufactured on state-of-the-art knitting machines in an endless process. It forms the basis for every type of working, coating and refining. Belts with specific properties are created, depending on the carrier material.

1. Schlatterer special fabric

…is manufactured on state-of-the-art knitting machines in an endless process.

Carrier Material

2. Timing belt and multi-V belt supplied by the customer …

… made of polyurethane and neoprene, coated by us on the rear side in an endless process, without a seam.

As well as our own special fabric, we use neoprene or polyurethane timing belts as tension members. The customer provides the basic timing belt, and we apply our various coating materials without a seam.

We make complete PU V-rubbed belts with the various rib profiles. We can also refine customer-supplied multi-V belts with our various coating materials in an endless process.

COATING MATERIALS

The Coatings For Drive Belts and Conveyor Belts

All Esband coatings are applied in an endless process, with you specifying the belt running direction that you require. We coat flat belts, timing belts and multi-V belts. You can also get short-run batches for a reasonable price and in the sizes that you require.

We recommend different coating materials, depending on the application:

Special Versions

Special Versions – Esband makes it possible!

An Esband is always a belt that tailored precisely to your needs that has been manufactured in an endless process. We use computer-controlled machining systems for the further processing. This, our own development, allows for holes and cutouts (e.g. for suction slots or transport pockets) in almost any shape. The following are a few examples and technical informations from a range of endless processing possibilities:

Technical Data for Designers

Esband creates endless design possibilities. As a designer or machine constructor, here you will find information about some pulley design, the design of the belt transmission, arrangement of tensioning rollers or special drive forms. We would also be happy to support you in relation to your design ideas.

Our belts are suitable for different pulley arrangements. More information is available on request from our sales engineers.
